We have had a very busy half term since our Halloween holidays in 4th class. We have done lots of fun art lessons, recount writing, created our own graphic texts and enjoyed lots of festive activities. One of the highlights was recording our first ever virtual carol service.
Over the past week we have had lots of fun Christmas activities such as a visit from Santa Claus, our very own 'White Christmas' with a snow machine in the playground, fun orienteering activities and the Reindeer Dash.
We are all very excited about Christmas and looking forward to our Christmas holidays. We wish you all a 'Very Merry Christmas' and we are looking forward to a happy and healthy New Year.
We have done some wonderful Art this half term, we made portraits of famous people and worked hard on our Autumn Art including our leaf mosaics and a special Halloween sewing task. Pupils were delighted to take their soft toys home after working hard to sew, stuff and decorate them. We haven't got all our Art up on the walls yet, some of it has been shared on Seesaw but we hope you enjoy these colourful displays below.
We really enjoyed using the new Chromebooks to do research for our Extreme Weather projects. It was also our first time using our Microsoft 365 accounts to type and save our information. We learnt lots of new skills, facts and information and created colourful posters to display and present our hard work! We can't wait to use our new skills for more projects this year. We would love to learn how to do PowerPoint presentations.
