  • Important News re Enrolment 2019/20

Mon 24 Sep 2018 Grainne Darlington

We have recently received correspondence from our governing  body that The Church of Ireland Board of Education is drafting new enrolment guidelines and is also awaiting input from the Department of Education and Skills.

In the meantime, we have been instructed to hold back any enrolment decisions for the 2019/20 year until further notice.

  • Upcoming School and Parish Fete

    Mon 16 Apr 2018 AB

Our annual School and Parish Fete is fast approaching! There are many ways in which our school families can help in the run-up to the fete. We have a few collections going on just now, which are outlined below:

Tombola - any items will be gladly accepted for this very popular stall at the fete. There's a large box in the hallway into which you can put your donations. Any items you have around the house, eg soup cans, bottles of minerals, sauces, perfumes, beans.

Adult Lucky Dip - Items for this stall can be left with Mrs Darlington. Suitable items include new unwanted gifts, vouchers, beauty sets, alcohol, perfumes, etc. As the price for playing on this stall is higher, the prizes in this lucky dip are usually of more value than those in the tombola.

Jam Jars - the kids know what to do!!

If you have any free time on the day of the fete there are always stalls that need a little help.

But of course the most important thing you can do is to come along on the day, bring as many people as you can, and have fun!

  • Seachtain na Gaeilge

    Thu 15 Mar 2018 AB
Bhí seachtain íontach againn anseo i gCill Tíornáin. Bhí céilí againn, Seó Faisean, Tráth na gCeist agus Siopa Tuc. Go raigh míle maith ag na múinteoirí - bhí siad ag obair go dian i rith na seachtaine!
  • Tag Rugby Blitz

    Wed 21 Feb 2018 AB
Students from 4th - 6th class have spent the past several weeks learning how to play Tag Rugby with a rep from Leinster Rugby. Today, our training culminated in a Blitz which took place in De La Salle Palmerston Rugby Club. The weather was glorious, and we had a lovely day playing Tag with children from several local schools.
  • Student Council PJ Day

    Thu 25 Jan 2018
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to our recent PJ Day. Jack, Megan and Anna were thrilled that we helped them to raise the money they needed for their Habitat for Humanity project. It's always lovely for us to be able to support past pupils when they come to visit.
